Authorial and authentic rituals
Relaxation means something personal, even intimate to me, and therefore I greatly value original rituals. These massages often lead to relationships of trust, sometimes even with no words required.
Not to mention the fact that these original rituals are so vastly different and individual.
I intend to visit all of the original rituals available at Bokštas SPA. I will start with…
This is an exclusive, signature massage created by Vida Barkauskienė, born from over 15 years of dedicated experience working with expectant mothers. The treatment is designed not only to relax the body and relieve tension but also to instill deep inner peace, gently support the mother in embracing her changing body, and nurture an even closer bond with her baby.
A soft, safe technique is applied throughout the session, with special attention given to the back, shoulders, legs, and feet – the areas most commonly affected by strain during pregnancy. The procedure concludes with a light, soothing head massage, leaving a tender sense of relaxation and harmony.
A signature postnatal ritual conceived for women returning to themselves after birth. Lymphatic drainage, sculpting, and deep tissue massage techniques are combined with MEI Italian green clay, marine algae, and a draining essential oil blend. The ritual reduces swelling, restores natural fluid circulation, and returns the skin to its original vitality. But above all – the lightness you have been waiting for. Not just in the body, but within yourself.

The face remembers everything – every sleepless night, every anxious day, every held breath. This ritual was created to release it all.
Kobido and myofascial massage work in concert, each technique deepening the effect of the other. The rapid, rhythmic movements of Kobido stimulate circulation, restore skin tone, and return the face’s natural luminosity. Myofascial massage works deeper – releasing accumulated tension held in the forehead, jaw, neck muscles, and along the décolleté line. Together, they restore tissue elasticity, redefine facial contours, and reveal the face’s natural symmetry.
After the ritual, skin feels deeply hydrated and visibly more radiant; fine lines are softened, features more defined. And finally – the still, private pleasure of a face that meets you in the mirror no longer tired, but rested.
The ritual provides effective and safe facial tissue correction. During the treatment, soft tissues and skull are massaged, facial and neck fascia tissue casing muscles and their fibres, blood vessels and nerves is stimulated, blood circulation is activated. Face gets natural, healthy glow. The result is younger looking face!
This technique offers slow and painless relief of stubborn muscle pain in the back. Massage movements stimulate the fascia tissue that surrounds and holds muscles and their fibres, internal organs, blood vessels and nerves in place. Releasing fascia tissue brings relaxation to muscles and nervous tension. Procedure is finished with neck and head massage harmonising and incorporating deep physical and emotional sensations.
No oil is used in the massage, however, olive squalene can be used upon request. It is a natural skin softening substance rapidly penetrating through skin pores without leaving oily film.

The emotional state is very important for human development and well-being. What could improve the mood better than a sacred dance? Only it will not be performed by the guest, but by the hands performing the ritual. The main goal of the MA-URI ritual is to reach the emotional and mental structures by gently touching the body in order to encourage the desire to change the beliefs that hinder the happy flow of life and search for internal resources.
The MA-URI ritual is like a sacred dance, which, by touching the human body with the forearms, “purges” what prevents one from moving forward: old beliefs, hurt feelings, doubts and debilitating emotions. Touch is used as a tool to gently “speak” to experiences that have settled in the body, recollections pushed to the back of mind, and sometimes traumas, so that a person can look past these experiences without identifying with them, make new decisions and get rid of old beliefs that prevent them from living a full life.
During this ritual, warm oil, the sounds of the Hawaiian flute, and sometimes a conversation are used. The treatment ends with a ritual washing of the feet.
In Japanese tradition, energy moves through the body along invisible yet perceptible lines and points. The Tsubo ritual – rooted in pressure-point shiatsu and conscious touch – is designed for those immersed in mental work, seeking stillness and a sense of inner flow. Every movement is built for quality over intensity: each touch has direction, each pause has purpose. Balance restored, without leaving the city.
